Prabhas to lock horns with Parthiban and Vaibhav this month

While Otha Seruppu Size 7 is a solo-act film starring only Parthiban, Vaibhav's Sixer is a romantic comedy

Published: 12th August 2019

With Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer, Saaho, slated for release on August 30, the film is all set to clash with Parthiban's murder mystery, Otha Seruppu Size 7, and the Vaibhav-starrer, Sixer, in Tamil. While Otha Seruppu is a solo-act film featuring only Parthiban in the cast, Sixer is a romantic comedy, directed by debutant Cachi, and co-starring Palak Lalwani.

Interestingly, Saaho was earlier slated for release on the same day (August 15) as Akshay Kumar-starrer Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House. However, the makers subsequently postponed the film's release to avert a box-office clash between the three biggies.

Prabhas and Shraddha, the film's leads, have dedicated three years of their career to Saaho, which has been made on a budget of Rs 300 crore. Also featuring Mahesh Manjrekar, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, and Chunky Pandey in supporting roles, Saaho has a background score by Ghibran.
