Akshay Kumar, Neeraj Pandey to reunite for film on NSA Ajit Doval?

The Baby and Special 26 duo is reuniting for a third time

Akshay Kumar, Neeraj Pandey to reunite for film on NSA Ajit Doval?

Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey are likely to reunite for a film based on National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. The actor-director duo has previously collaborated on Baby and Special 26. Neeraj has also co-produced Akshay’s Rustom and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha

As per reports, the upcoming film is in scripting stages and will follow the career highlights of NSA Ajit Doval. The film is go on floors once Akshay wraps up his present commitments. Neeraj is presently gearing up to shoot Chakanya, a historical biopic featuring Ajay Devgn as the titular 4th century scholar. 

Akshay and Neeraj were earlier set work on Crack. The film was shelved amidst rumours of a fallout between the two. In January 2018, Akshay’s PadMan and Neeraj’s Aiyaary were headed for a box-office clash on Republic Day. The clash was eventually everted with both films releasing in separate weeks in February. 

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming release is Mission Mangal. The actor will also be seen in Laxmmi Bomb, Good News, Housefull 4 and Sooryavanshi

In Uri: The Surgical Strike, Paresh Rawal had portrayed a character fashioned after NSA Ajit Doval.
