Katrina Kaif’s sister, Isabelle Kaif, will make her Bollywood debut opposite Aayush Sharma in Kwatha. The film is an action-drama based on real incidents of the Indian Army. Confirming the leading pair, director Karan Butani said, “We are excited to announce Aayush Sharma and Isabelle Kaif as the leads of our film. Kwatha is a village on the border of India and Mynamar. While it is based on true events, the plot is unconventional, which made actors like Aayush and Isabelle perfect for a film like this.”

Isabelle was earlier announced to debut opposite Sooraj Pancholi in Time To Dance. Not much has been heard about the project ever since. Isabelle had previously appeared in the 2014 Canadian film Dr. Cabbie

Aayush Sharma is the brother-in-law of Salman Khan. He made his acting debut opposite Warina Hussain in LoveYatri (2018). In Kwatha, Aayush will be seen portraying an army officer. The film is expected to go on floors in September.
