Govind Vasantha starts work on Jyotika's next

The yet to be titled film, which is currently in pre-production, is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment.

Jyotika was in the news recently for wrapping up her untitled film, also starring Revathy and directed by Kalyan of Gulaebagavali fame, in record time. The Kaatrin Mozhi actor will now get busy with a film directed by JJ Frederick, a former assistant of Endrendrum Punnagai fame Ahmed.

It's now known that music director Govind Vasantha, who recently became the talk of the town for his 96 album, has been roped in as the music director for the film and the composer has already begun work on the project. The yet to be titled film, which is currently in pre-production, is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment. Interestingly, the production house's last venture, Uriyadi 2, also had music by Govind Vasantha. 

The film is also rumoured to star directors Bharathiraja, Bhagyaraj, and Parthiban. It is interesting to note that while Bhagyaraj is one of the more famous assistants of director Bharathiraja, Parthiban, is in turn, one of the most celebrated assistants of Bhagyaraj. Meanwhile, Jyotika also has a film with debutant S Raj, co-starring Poornima Bhagyaraj, Hareesh Peradi and Sathyan. Jyotika is said to play a teacher in this film.
