Sivakarthikeyan turns singer yet again for Mr Local

Sivakarthikeyan's next release is a comedy titled Mr. Local, directed by M Rajesh of Siva Manasula Sakthi, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, and Boss Engira Baskaran fame. With Nayanthara playing the female lead, the film also features Radikaa, YouTube-fame Harija, Sathish and Yogi Babu. 

The makers have now released the lyric video of one of the songs from the film, Kalakkalu Mr.Localu, sung by Sivakarthikeyan. The peppy track, which is said to be Sivakarthikeyan's introduction song in the film, has lyrics by K.R. Dharan. 

Mr Local has music by Hip-hop Tamizha and cinematography by Thaana Serndha Kootam-fame Dinesh Krishnan. Produced by Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green Productions, the film is scheduled to get a release on May 1.

Sivakarthikeyan, meanwhile, has an enviable lineup of projects: a sci-fi film with Indru Netru Naalai-fame Ravikumar, a film each with Irumbuthirai-fame PS Mithran and Vignesh Shivn, and director Pandiraj's follow-up venture to Kadaikutty Singam.
