Russo Brothers request fans not spoil Endgame

Directors of Avengers: Endgame, Joe and Antony Russo, have requested fans of the franchise to not spoil the film for others by giving away storylines after reports that some scenes had leaked online. The makers took to Twitter where they posted a statement saying the entire cast and crew "have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion." The statement also said, "When you see Endgame in coming weeks, please don't spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn't want it spoiled for you."

This comes right after reports that pirated five-minute-long footage from the film had surfaced on the Internet. It's speculated that this footage was recorded during a screening of the film, since theatre seats are visible in the frame. The content, posted on various platforms, was swiftly removed and #DontSpoilTheEnding was one of the top Twitter trends on Tuesday.

Starring Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner, among others, Avengers: Endgame will hit Indian screens on April 26.
