As Upendra gears up to celebrate his birthday on Tuesday, the makers of his film, I Love You are planning a surprise. Director R Chandru, who has helmed the film is working on a 3D motion poster, which he says is a creative and fresh attempt. “This will be revealed on Tuesday, on Uppi’s birthday, after the actor is officially done with the launch of his political party Uttamma Prajaakeeya Party (UPP),” the filmmaker adds.

The shooting of I Love You, which began this June, is almost complete with only the song and fight sequences left to be shot. Playing the role of a love guru, Uppi will relive his college days through the film. I Love You also has Rachita Ram in the lead, while Sonu Gowda and Triveni too are part of the cast. The film's music is composed by Kiran Thotambyle and its cinematography is by Naveen Kumar.
