Darshan-starrer Chakravarthy, directed by Chintan, was released in Kannada in April 2017. Now, the recently-released Hindi version of thefilm has set a new benchmark. Released online by Cinekorn Movies six days ago, the film has already been viewed by 10 million people on YouTube. Apparently, it is trending in countries like Qatar, UAE and Nepal.

While Darshan’s previous films, which have been dubbed in Hindi, have done well, Chakravarthy tops the list as it crossed a million views in a short time. Chakravarthy is about a gangster in the 80s and it features Darshan in the role of the don with Deepa Sannidhi playing the female lead. The action-packed film stars Dinakar Thoogudeepa as the antagonist, along with Srujan Lokesh, Aditya, Kumar Bangarappa and Yashas Surya being part of the cast. The film’s music score by Arjun Janya was a huge hit, with Ondu Male Billu breaking records, while the cinematography was by Chandrashekar.
