Lyca to produce AR Murugadoss’ next with Rajinikanth?

With Sarkar still running in theatres, speculation about AR Murugadoss’ next has already begun. Reports suggest that the director will be working with Rajinikanth next and the project will be funded by Lyca Productions. However, an official confirmation is awaited. 

Notably, Lyca Productions is also producing 2.0, Rajinikanth’s film with Shankar, and also presented his earlier film, Kaala. The banner is bankrolling Indian 2, director Shankar’s next starring Kamal Haasan, as well. 

Rajinikanth is currently awaiting the release of 2.0, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in key roles. The film is set for release this Thursday. He also has Petta with Karthik Subbaraj, also starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran, Trisha, Vijay Sethupathi, and Bobby Simha. Petta will hit the screens for Pongal.
