2.0 teaser to be released during IPL finals?

With Kaala releasing on June 7, the latest buzz about the other highly anticipated Rajinikanth film 2.0, is that its teaser will be unveiled during the finals of IPL on May 27. 

A source close the film's unit says that the makers are looking to release the teaser that day. However, official confirmation is awaited.

In March, an unedited version of the teaser went viral online. Reports suggested that the video was screened to some important people associated with the film. Apparently, it was recorded by someone and got released. Eventually, the makers appealed to the audience to not share or watch it.

While 2.0 was originally supposed to be released for 2017 Diwali, there's no clarity yet on the new release date. The film marks the third collaboration of Shankar and Rajinikanth, after Sivaji and Enthiran.

Also starring Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain, the film has music by AR Rahman.
