Sara Ali Khan, daughter of actor Saif Ali Khan, began shooting for her debut film alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, in September last year. But the shooting of the film was stalled after one schedule as one of the co-producers, KriArj Entertainment, opted out of the project. After a long wait, it was announced a while ago that Sara would star opposite Ranveer Singh in Simmba, the release date of which was announced to be December 28.
So, it was expected that Simmba would hit the screens first and mark Sara's debut. But surprisingly, yesterday, the director of Kedarnath took to Twitter to announce the film's release date and share the updates about the shooting. He wrote,
We clean up pretty nice. 30th nov it is. #savethedate everyone #jaibholenath #rsvp @RonnieScrewvala @pragyadav_ @gitspictures #kedarnath #kedarnaththemovie @itsSSR #saraalikhan pic.twitter.com/Ne34cl8rRX
The shooting for the film is all set to resume in the last week of May, and Kedarnath will now hit the screens almost a month ahead of Simmba.
