Viswasam  to hit the screens next Pongal

Ajith’s next with Siva, Viswasam, which was expected to be released this Diwali, has now been confirmed for release on Pongal, 2019. Director Siva broke the news during a media interaction yesterday. The filmmaker has previously worked with Ajith in Veeram, Vedhalam and Vivegam.

He also added that Viswasam, which was launched during the first week of May in Hyderabad, is about forty per cent complete. The film has an ensemble cast that includes Nayanthara, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiah and Robo Shankar, and music by D Imman, marking his first collaboration with Ajith.

The latest addition to the cast is veteran actor Kovai Sarala and Nadodigal-fame Namo Narayanan. Kovai Sarala, who has shared screen space with Ajith in various films like Aval Varuvala and Anjaneya, last acted with him in 2015’s Vedhalam. On the other hand, Viswasam marks the first collaboration of Namo Narayanan with Ajith.
