Satya Prakash creates buzz with Ondalla Eradalla

D Satya Prakash, the director who struck a chord with the audience with his critically acclaimed debut Rama Rama Re, is back to make news with his second venture. Having silently completed the shooting process in a span of 37 days, the film is now in the final stages of post-productions. The makers are releasing the first look today.

The title reads Ondalla Eradalla and the poster reveals a boy, with a tail, horns and cow-like ears. About his film, Satya cryptically says, “The film will be loved by innocent minds and the people who will watch our film, will turn innocent.”

He adds that he will not be able to reveal anything more about the film as of now, but the first look poster says a lot about Ondalla Eradalla. The film is co-produced by D Satya Prakash in colloboration with Hebbuli producer, Umapathy Srinivas Gowda. It is made under the banner DN Cinema of Smitha Umapathy.

The director has brought the technical team of Rama Rama Re on board, to work on his second film as well. They include Lavith Kumar as cameraman, BS Kempraju as editor, Vasuki Vaibhav and Nobin Paul composing the music, and Varadaraj Kamath as art director.

As for the cast, the makers have brought in fresh talents, mostly coming from a theatre background. Master Rohith Pandavapur plays the protagonist. Along with him are some well known faces playing the main characters, including MK Mata, Sai Krishna Kudla and Nagabushan. “Most of the film has been shot in unexplored locations. We have artistes from coastal Karnataka,” the director adds.

With the first copy of the film slated to be out in the next 20 days, Satya Prakash plans to have it in theatres sometime in August.
