Attarinitiki Daredi, the 2013 Telugu film starring Pawan Kalyan, Pranitha, and Samantha, went on to become a huge hit at the box office breaking many collection records. Five years after its release, leading production house, Lyca Productions have bought the Tamil remake rights of the film.

The production house broke the news on their official Twitter handle on Tuesday. "We are very happy to announce that we have acquired the Tamil remake rights of the mega Telugu blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi! More exciting updates on this coming up! Big thanks to Trivikram," they wrote.

Though the makers are yet to disclose the title, cast, and crew of the remake, speculations have started to surface that a top actor will be playing the lead role.

Apart from this project, Lyca Productions is also bankrolling other biggies like 2.0, Indian 2, Suriya 37 and Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.
