Bharathirajaa has an important role in Seethakaathi

Veteran director Bharathiraaja has been confirmed to play an important role in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom-fame Balaji Tharaneetharan's next film, Seethakaathi, which features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead.

The director broke the news yesterday, during the teaser launch of Bharathiraaja's new directorial, OM. Apart from Bharathiraaja, Seethakaathi also has director Mahendran in a pivotal role. Veedu-fame Archana will play Vijay Sethupathi's wife in the film and actors Gayathrie, Parvatii Nair, and Remya Nambeesan will be seen in cameos.

A making video of Seethakaathi, shedding light on the laborious makeover of Vijay Sethupathi into an  80-year old was also shared recently. The film which marks the actor's 25th project in the industry has music by Asuravadham-fame Govind Menon.
