Sudeep returns to Bollywood through Dabangg 3

The actor will share screen space with Salman Khan in a key role

Published: 17th July 2018

Sudeep is in a good space right now. Apart from three Kannada films, he is also currently shooting for a Telugu film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy with Chiranjeevi and a Tamil film with Dhanush. A Hollywood project, Risen, is also on the cards.

The latest addition to actor’s filmography is a Bollywood film  with Salman Khan. He will be playing a key role in Sohail Khan’s production venture Dabangg 3, in association with Toronto Productions. The film will be directed by Prabhudheva and the actor has given the green signal to the role, says our source. If all goes as per plan, he will be shooting his portions in December.

Previously,  rumours about Sudeep being part of Tiger Zinda Hai went viral, and this news has even reached Bollywood. So when the makers of Dabangg 3 were deciding on the cast, they considered Sudeep, and he is now on board. While the actor sharing screen space with Bhai is confirmed, more details will be revealed later.

Sudeep is no stranger to Bollywood. The actor who started his journey in the industry with Ram Gopal Varma’s Phoonk in 2008, has worked in films such as Rann, Rakta Charitra 1 and II. Sudeep also had his Telugu film Eega released in Hindi as Makkhi. He now returns to Bollywood after eight years.

While he already has three Kannada films - The Villain, Phailwan and Kotigobba 3,  his presence in films of four other languages will give the audience a chance to see Sudeep’s versatility.
