Ganesh is currently busy shooting for Prashant Raj’s Orange. Meanwhile Kurukshetra-director Naganna is getting ready for his next project with the Golden Star. This project will be Ganesh’s first attempt at horror-comedy, and it is titled Gimmick, which goes well with the genre, says Naganna.

The director  and actor are coming together for the first time and preparations are on in full swing. Apparently, the crew has planned to shoot Gimmick in some unexplored locations, which is why the director was in Srilanka last week. “We are looking for a unique house, where we plan to shoot some very important scenes, that’s why I had visited Srilanka. We are also looking at shooting a few portions in Mysuru and Bengaluru,” says Naganna, adding, “Everything is in the planning stage right now.”

Ronika Singh, lead actor in Punjabi film Ramta Jogi, will be making her Sandalwood debut with this film. Gimmick has Arjun Janya scoring the music and Ravi Varma’s stunts. Made under Sami Pictures and produced by Deepak Sami, the film will also feature Sadhu Kokila, Shobhraj and Sunder Raj in important roles.
