Sriimurali-starrer Bharaate has director Chethan Kumar giving an interesting twist to the upcoming family entertainer. The film is said to have not one, but at least nine characters with negative shades in the film. The process to finalise the cast is currently underway, and one can expect biggies like Jagapati Babu, Sampath Kumar, Suman, Sonu Sood and some top villains from Sandalwood coming on board. These actors have been approached, and final discussions are happening now. Official announcements will be made once they sign on the dotted line.  Why and how Chethan brought these negative characters into a family drama is something we’ll have to wait and see. It will be interesting to see Sriimurali go head-to-head with all these villains.

Bharaate has Supreeth debuting as a producer, with Sreeleela playing the female lead. The film has cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda associating with Sriimurali after Ugramm, with art director Mohan B Kere coming on board.

Bharaate’s first look launching with Rap track

The team has gotten back from Rajasthan after a rigorous photo shoot, where they shot in the scorching heat of 41 degrees.  Interestingly, the first look, will be in a teaser format and with a Rap track to go with it. Sriimurali himself has made this announcement on social media.

Bharaate is said to be the first Kananda film that had a photo shoot outside the state, and the Rap track will be yet another unique attempt by the makers.
