Easwari Rao denies being part of Viswasam

A certain section of media sparked a rumour that Easwari Rao, who made her comeback to Tamil cinema after a decade with the Rajinikanth-starrer Kaala, has been approached for an important role in Ajith's Viswasam. It was stated that the Mankatha actor will be playing dual roles -- father and son -- and while the son character would be paired with Nayanthara, Easwari Rao would star as the wife of the father character.

When Cinema Express contacted the Sullan actor, she rubbished the news as mere rumour. "I've been getting calls about it for a while now and I don't know where it started from. I haven't been approached for a role in that film," says Easwari, who will next be seen in Varma, the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit Arjun Reddy. Varma, directed by Bala, marks the debut of Vikram's son Dhruv.

Meanwhile, Ajith's Viswasam, directed by Siva, is currently in its second schedule.
