The ambiguity over the presence of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan in megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming historical drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy was cleared after director Surender Reddy dropped a hint on his Facebook page.

The Kick director had met Big B in Mumbai on Monday and shared their picture with a caption on his social media page indicating that the 76-year-actor will be a part of the project. “With the MAN himself,” posted Suri on his Facebook page.

A source from the production team also requested that people not believe rumours to the contrary. “There is no room for rumours or speculations. Big B is doing Sye Raa. He plays the role of the latter’s guru Gosai Venkanna. He will come to Hyderabad to shoot for his portions in March,” the source adds.

Meanwhile, the new schedule of Sye Raa will commence on February 23 in a specially constructed British era set in Hyderabad. “The team will be filming scenes involving Chiru, Nayanthara and others in this schedule,” the source adds.

It is also learnt that MM Keeravani has replaced AR Rahman as the music composer of the film. Produced by Ram Charan under Konidela Productions, the film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Kicha Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathi in prominent roles, and will be shot in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
