Kanchana 3 to hit the screens next summer

Raghava Lawrence, whose Muni films began the horror-comedy trend in Tamil cinema, has announced the release date of the next film in the franchise. Kanchana 3, starring Lawrence, Oviya, Vedhika and Nikki Tamboli, will hit the screens on April 18, 2019. 

Sun Pictures, which is producing the film, also announced this on Twitter, saying, "The much awaited Muni 4 – Kanchana 3 by Raghava Lawrence is nearing completion of shooting and will release in April 2019." 

The fourth film in the Muni franchise will also have its digital motion poster screened on Pongal before the start of Rajinikanth's Petta. The cast of Kanchana 3 includes Kishore, Kabir Duhan Singh, Sathyaraj, Sriman, Devadarshini , Kovai Sarala and Manobala.
