Salman Khan unveils teaser of his upcoming film Bharat 

On occasion of Independence Day, Salman Khan unveiled the teaser of his upcoming film, Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar

On the occasion of Independence Day, Salman Khan unveiled the teaser of his upcoming film, Bharat. 'Some relationships are tied to land, some to blood. I had both,' Salman says in the teaser, which bears the tagline, 'The journey of a man and a nation together.' Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is an official remake of the South Korean drama, Ode To My Father. Bharat entered production in July with a with a grand circus scene in Mumbai, followed by a schedule in Malta. 

Priyanka Chopra was earlier expected to play the leading lady in Bharat, who dropped out of the project and was replaced by Katrina Kaif. The film also stars Disha Patani, Tabu and Sunil Grover. 

For Bharat, Salman will be sporting six different looks resembling various ages. Salman and Ali Abbas Zafar had earlier delivered hits like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. 

Salman's last release, Race 3, was met with negative reviews. After Bharat, the actor will be seen in Dabangg 3 and Kick 2.

Bharat is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Atul Agnihotri. The film is scheduled for release on Eid, 2019. Salman Khan will be seen in a cameo appearance in the upcoming films, Yamla Pagla Deewana 3 and Zero.
