Geetha Govindam sets new record in Karnataka

With advance booking, the film is already sold out in many theatres across the state

The upcoming Telugu film, Geetha Govindam, directed by Parasuram, and starring Vijay Devarakonda and Kannada heroine Rashmika Mandanna, has not only caught the attention of fans in Tollywood, but in Sandalwood as well.

The film that gets an Independance day release tomorrow has raised a lot of expectations and is already seeing advance bookings. Distributed by BK Gangadahar,the film will be released in 100 theatres in Karnataka, and tickets in most of them have already sold out. It is also said that a few single screen theatres will be screening the film as early as 6 am.

Rashmika’s reaction to this love is “a big thank you”. She says, “I am overwhelmed with all the love that the audience are showering on me. However, I am waiting for them to watch the film and I am curious about their feedback.”

'Saanvi’ (her character in Kirik Party) shot to fame in the Telugu industry when she went on to debut in Chalo. This is her second Telugu film and her first with Vijay Devarakonda.
