Upendra and Chandru to team up for a bilingual

Actor Upendra and director Chandru will be coming together again after Brahma, for a film titled I Love You. The director had earlier announced that his next will be a bilingual in Kannada and Telugu, and he has now brought Uppi on board for it. 

Upendra has a song shoot pending for Sujay K Srihari’s Home Minister, which will take place during the first week of May. The actor’s film with R Chandru is likely to go on floors from May 18. According to sources, Upendra chose I Love You from among six films that were offered to him. 

Chandru has also grabbed attention with the film’s tagline, ‘Signature of two hearts’, and with Upendra on board, the film is expected be in the style of Uppi’s signature films such as A, Upendra and Preethse. More details on this will be known once an official announcement is made by the makers.

Another interesting titbit is that Upendra will be getting a makeover for the film, and will don a new hairdo. A stylist will be specially flown in from Mumbai for the purpose of revamping his style. It is notable that the actor's films always showcase his unique looks and hair styles, as seen in films like Upendra, Super and Uppi 2.
