The principal shooting of Jr NTR’s new film, commonly known as #NTR28, has begun in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Touted to be a wholesome family entertainer set against the backdrop of factional politics, the film marks the first collaboration of the Janatha Garage actor with director Trivikram Srinivas.

“The story deals with factional politics and is also loaded with emotion, drama and romance. The team has started the proceedings with an action sequence choreographed by stunt choreographer duo Ram-Laxman in a specially constructed set. Following this, the team will also shoot pivotal sequences of the film. NTR has shed 20 kilos in three months and attained six-pack abs for his role in the film. His new look is going to be one of the high points of the film,” says a source.

Thaman, who earlier provided music for Jr NTR's Brindavanam and Rabhasa, has been roped in as the film’s music composer. The film also features Pooja Hegde and Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles. The former will join the sets in May. Produced by S Radha Krishna under Haarika & Haasine Creations, #NTR28 is slated for release during Dasara.
