Festive fervour in Tollywood

The first look posters and trailers of Nagarjuna-starrer Raju Gari Gadhi 2, Ravi Teja’s Raja The Great and Rajasekhar’s comeback outing PSV Garudavega have evoked a tremendous response and raised a lot of expectations among the movie buffs and trade alike.

Saying that there’s always scope for a good movie to do well, Sreekanth K, a distributor from Telangana says that he watched the trailers of all the three films and declares that each of these films are unique in their own way. “I’m hoping all the three films perform well as it’s been a while we have seen two or more films do well in the festive season.”

He also points out that audience will have more choice. “Movie buffs are in for exciting times as they have a lot of options. In other sense, it’s really tiresome to watch two or more films on the same day and one will become restless. I feel it’s good to have a release every other day for this Diwali,” he adds.

Releasing on October 13, Raju Gari Gadhi 2, also featuring Samantha and Seerat Kapoor in crucial roles, is a supernatural horror thriller.

Raja The Great, slotted for release on October 18, is the story of a visually-challenged man, who fights against all the odds. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film also has Mehreen as the female lead.

Deemed as the comeback film of Rajasekhar, PSV Garudavega, directed by Praveen Sattaru and also starring Pooja Kumar is slated to land in cinemas on October 20. The movie showcases the ordeals of an honest NIA officer played a Rajasekhar.
