Teja to direct Venky?

Director Teja, known for making intense love stories, is back in the reckoning with Nene Raju Nene Mantri. The political drama starring Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead has raked in profits and made the Jayam director one of the bankable filmmakers of the industry.

Now the latest buzz is that Teja has approached actor Venkatesh for a movie, which will be bankrolled by Suresh Babu. “After Guru, Venkatesh is taking his own sweet time to sign a project. He was pleased with the storyline pitched by Teja and gave his nod to be a part of the project,” informs a source.

Word has it that Teja also initiated talks with Balakrishna for yet another project and recently met the actor for a narrative session. An official announcement on these projects is awaited.
