Spyder trailer leaked online

The theatrical trailer of Spyder featuring Mahesh Babu and Rakul Preet in lead roles has been leaked online before its official release tomorrow. According to reports, the leaked footage was a rough cut readied by the team before the final version. "The leaked trailer is the old version. It was really disappointing to see some footage from the film surfacing online just hours before the scheduled release. The team will now release the new version at midnight to prevent any further damage," informs a source from the production team.

It may be recalled that the film's teaser was also made way online ahead of its official release. The teaser shows Mahesh as a ruthless intelligence officer and gives a glimpse of the baddie SJ Suryah. It also offers a dash of mother-son relationship. The video took the social media by storm and topped the trends.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Spyder is set to hit the screens on September 27.
