Venky, Vaitla join hands for a talk show?

The actor and director may team up for an interactive television show
Venky, Vaitla join hands for a talk show?

Over the years, Venkatesh has been known for doing varied roles in his career. After being hailed as one of the successful stars of Telugu cinema, he is soon going to explore a different medium altogether. Like fellow stars Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR and his nephew Rana Daggubati, the 56-year old actor is going to make a foray into television with a talk show -- Guru. Interestingly, the show will be produced by renowned director Srinu Vaitla.

Apparently, it will be of an interactive nature and will be aired during prime time on a popular regional channel. “The show will have a unique concept where participants will open up on any kind of problems they have and the solutions will be provided with humour by the celebrities, who have gone through a similar experience in their professional and personal lives,” informs a source.

“Vaitla recently called up Venkatesh, who was on a vacation to Europe and proposed his idea of casting him as the talk show host. Pleased with the concept, the actor responded positively and said he will decide on what to take up next once he returns from his vacation,” adds the source.

If everything falls in place, this project marks the second collaboration of Venky with Vaitla after Namo Venkatesa, a comic caper released in 2010.
