Rana Daggubati has a new look in his next film 1945 that is set in the backdrop of pre-partition India. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual, boasts a solid star cast with names like Regina Cassandra, Sathyaraj, Nasser and RJ Balaji being part of the project.
Rana plays the role of a soldier in Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army in the period drama, directed by Sathya Siva, the shooting of which is currently underway in Kochi. It is notable that Rana’s previous outing, Ghazi was also a period drama and was also made in multiple languages.
The actor introduced the director Sathya Siva and cinematographer Sathya through his twitter handle.
