Bollywood writers scripting for Dhruva Sarja
Shiraz Ahmed, who scripted Race 2, is working on a story for the actor, and so is another Hindi writer, Shagufta Rafique, famous for Murder and Ashiqui 2
Dhruva Sarja has broken a few records with his third movie Bharjari, helmed by Chethan Kumar, which is now headed for a 50-day run in theatres. The actor, who impressed the industry and audiences with three back-to-back hits, has caught the attention of Bollywood writers.
Writer Shiraz Ahmed, who has written the story for Race 2, is scripting one for Dhruva. It is being worked on after the actor liked the one-liner. The narration will be done after the script is ready and the actor, we hear, is looking forward to hearing from them.
Meanwhile, Raghavendra Hegde, who helmed Darshan’s Jaggu Dada, has shown interest in working on another project with Dhruva. The director is getting a script written by Shagufta Rafique, who has penned stories for hit films like Murder and Ashiqui 2.
Our source tells us, “Dhruva has asked Raghavendra to come up with a good script. It is likely to a futuristic love story, which also talks about the Moon Rover. The writing is nearly done and the narration will be given to the actor in November. If everything goes well, Raghavendra will be back to helm his second film in Kannada.” The director is currently busy with the small screen, completing a few episodes of the new serial Shani.
Dhruva is apparently choosy about his projects now. In fact, producer Uday Mehta, who will be working with the actor after Pogaru, is still looking for a director. Will these Bollywood writers impress the actor with their unique stories?
Meanwhile, Dhruva is waiting to celebrate Bharjari’s half century and is gearing up for Pogaru directed by Nanda Kishore. The actor is being trained for the fights and learning the dialogues, before the shooting begins.
