SS Rajamouli confirms his next

After the stellar success of the Baahubali franchise, director SS Rajamouli was expected to join hands with Mahesh Babu for the first time. But now, it's confirmed that, while the duo will indeed team up for a film, Rajamouli will first direct a social drama which is expected to be completed quickly.

In a recent interview, the filmmaker announced that his next will be bankrolled by DVV Danayya, who is incidentally also producing Mahesh Babu's next film - Bharat Ane Nenu.

Sources state that Rajamouli is currently working on the script of this yet-to-be-titled film, which is expected to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, along with his father KV Vijayendra Prasad, who also wrote the story of Baahubali and Mersal. Once the script is completed, the film is expected to go on floors from early 2018. After that, the film with Mahesh Babu will happen in 2019.
