Nidhhi Agerwal roped in for Savyasachi

The Munna Michael fame actress is set to make her Telugu debut opposite Naga Chaitanya in the Chandoo Mondeti directorial

Bollywood actress Nidhhi Agerwal of Munna Michael fame is all set to debut in Telugu with the Naga Chaitanya-starrer Savyasachi.

“After tossing up a few names, we have zeroed in on Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead. Both Chaitanya and Nidhhi’s roles will be interesting in terms of characterisation, and their love story will have its own conflicts throughout the film. We were impressed with Nidhhi’s performance in Munna Michael and are confident that a gorgeous beauty like her will make a fresh pairing with Chaitanya. The film is high on action and romance,” says a source from the production unit.

Savyasachi also reunites Chaitanya with director Chandoo Mondeti after the blockbuster Premam. “The final draft of the script is locked and the team will kick-start the principal shooting in the third week of October right after the Dohchay star’s wedding with his fiancée Samantha,” the source adds.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film showcases Chaitanya playing an ambidextrous character.
