Nani, Akhil to battle it out for X-mas 

Looks like producer Dil Raju is in no mood to avert a box office clash with Nagarjuna’s upcoming production Hello, starring Akhil Akkineni and directed by Vikram Kumar. While both producers didn’t comment on a clash, it is learned that Nagarjuna is miffed with Raju’s off-the-cuff announcement of releasing Nani-starrer MCA on December 21.

“MCA, directed by Venu Sree Ram was earlier meant to release on December 15 and the same had been confirmed by Dil Raju. But, he has now decided to reschedule it for December 21, a day ahead of Hello to cash in on the Christmas holiday season,” says a source in the know, adding, “Nagarjuna had confirmed Hello’s release back in July and it seems the clash is inevitable now.”

Considering Nani’s dream run with a slew of hits to his name, MCA is destined to register good openings. As for Hello, the recently released teaser has increased the confidence of the Akkineni scion on the project.
