Trending Kanaka’s trailer catches distributor's attention

The trailer of Kanaka, is the latest Kannada film to trend online and director R Chandru can’t hold his excitement. He says, “People consider the trailer as an invitation to a film, and it’s popularirity definitely matters. I am glad, it has been in the top five spot for the last four days.”

Interestingly, the trending trailer of Kanaka has also caught eyes of various distributors and Goldy Films, who distributed Baahubali for Karnataka region, is said to be enquiring for an outright price. This is a first for a Duniya Vijay film. “Discussion are going on, we are yet to close the deal,” Chandru tells us.

Meanwhile, Chandru is getting ready for a grand audio launch, which he plans to hold at his hometown, Sidlughatta on November 19. The makers are expecting more than 1.50 lakh audience for the event, and the director is in talks with big stars from South Indian cinema to grace the audio launch. 

Kanaka also features Hariprriya and Manvitha Harish as part of the cast.
