The couple file a defamation case against Ravi Mohanlal Bhalotia for Rs.100 crore

Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who were earlier sent a legal notice by vendor Ravi Mohanlal Bhalotia for allegedly cheating him of 24 lakhs, have now slapped a defamation notice for Rs.100 crore on Bhalotia who publicly called the celebrity couple cheats.
Earlier during a media interaction, Raj said that the vendor was misusing his connections and abusing the law. A quashing petition has been filed in the Bombay High Court with regards to this.
Their spokesperson says, "Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra have slapped a defamation notice for Rs.100 crore on Ravi Mohanlal Bhalotia. A quashing petition has been filed in the Bombay High Court as they have tight contracts signed and have been responsibly following the laws of the land."
Ravi Bhalotia, a textile businessman from Bhiwandi had filed a case against Shilpa, Raj and three others on April 27. Bhalotia had alleged that Best Deal TV Pvt, an online shopping channel, headed by the accused had duped him of Rs 24 lakhs. He said that he was a vendor with the channel, which sold bedsheets through TV, and collected money on his behalf, but the money was not given to him. Raj was questioned for three hours by police last week. The couple got interim relief from Thane session court.
