Vinay Rajkumar to juggle between 2 projects

Published: 21st May 2017

Vinay Rajkumar has been careful about his project choices post-Run Antony. The two-film-old actor, after great scrutiny and choosing from among 15 different subjects, has finally given the green signal to director Sunil Thalya. Vinay feels this selectiveness was necessary, as it will help him establish himself in the Kannada film industry. The actor has now chalked out a plan and will be working on two projects simultaneously. "I have given myself a long break, and have been concentrating on reading good scripts with good roles and characters. My father and I have been discussing with a few directors, and we will soon be locking another script apart from Sunil’s. The two films will be launched around the same time," says Vinay. Sunil has 10 years of experience in the industry and has worked with directors like Om Prakash Rao, Sadhu Kokila, Raghave Loki, Chethan Kumar and others, before making his mark as an independent director. This yet-to-be-titled project will be produced by PS Prakash, and rumors are that Vinay will be playing a boy next door, who is just out of college. More details will be revealed once the makers decide to go on floors, which, we hear, will be in July.
