Sriimurali's next is one in a 100!

After Mufti, the actor is set to do a movie with a whole host of characters

Published: 20th June 2017

Sriimurali, who is planning a quick holiday with family this week, will start shooting the last schedule of Mufti from the first week of July. The Narthan directorial has Shanvi Srivastava playing the female lead. Meanwhile, the actor is simultanesouly gearing up for his next film, which is interesting for its vast canvas. We hear from the actor that there will be 100 characters in this movie!

The actor will be working with producers Jayanna and Bogendra again for this yet-to-be-titled film, the director for which will be announced by the team after they wrap up Mufti. Sriimurali will have another makeover for this movie too.

The actor says that each of the 100 characters will be important. "Usually, in a film with a huge cast, only few people are part of the narrative. It is a challenge to connect all 100 to the story and the team is working hard towards it," he says. "Also, you have only two-and-a-half hours to connect the audience to the many characters. Their lives are all interconnected, and they come together in the screenplay," adds the actor.

"When a movie ends, people usually walk away with only a few characters in mind. To remember all the 100, a lot of detailing has to be done and that is extremely important for the film. This film should be able to create an atmosphere, and the audience should feel that the story unravelled in their house." says Sriimurali.

The project is likely to go on floors from September or October.
