Published: 19th June 2017

Director Santhosh Ananddram and Karthik Gowda, the creative producer of Homebale Films, who are basking in the stupendous success of Raajakumara, were spotted in Hyderabad for a day and it has fanned rumours that the film will remade in Telugu. Though Karthik and Santhosh are not ready to reveal any details about this, our sources in the know say that Raajakumara will be travelling to Tollywood.

"There is a huge demand for the remake rights and talks are currently on for that," says our source. "What is interesting is that Hombale Films will be venturing into Tollywood for the first time, producing this film, and Santhosh Ananddramm will be directing the Telugu version too."

Hombale, which started with Ninnindale, has also produced Masterpiece and Raajakumara. Their next film in Kannada is KGF starring Yash, which is currently on floors. The production house will officially make an announcement when every detail is confirmed. With Santhosh and Hombale Films going to Tollywood, the next question is which star gets to play the lead in the remake of Raajakumara? Everyone is curious.

Raajakumara is heading for a successful 100-day run, breaking all previous records in Sandalwood. The film stands at number one position in multiplexes, with 7,577 shows in 87 days.
