Simran and Napoleon in Siva's next

Veteran actors Simran and Napoleon have been signed onboard for Sivakarthikeyan’s new film with director Ponram, which commenced on June 16. The film also stars Samantha as the lead lady. Soori, Yogi Babu and Naan Kadavul Rajendran will take care of the humour in the yet to be titled film. It is reported that while Sivakarthikeyan and Soori will join the sets to commence the shoot, Samantha will be joining the sets later on. The shoot of the film will happen in Tenkasi and surrounding locales since the film is believed to have the rural flavour like his previous films. 

The film marks the third collaboration of director Ponram and Sivakarthikeyan after Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajni Murugan. Imman will be composing the music for this flick with Balasubramaniem KT handling the camera. RD Raja is  the producer of the film which is scheduled for a grand Summer 2018 release.
