Having captured the best of Sandalwood through his lens, cinematographer Satya Hegde is now gearing up to set his foot into Kollywood. He will be associating with director Ramesh Aravind for a remake of Queen in Tamil, which is set to go on the floors soon.

Satya, who started off his career with Sparsha, has worked on around 28 films. The cinematographer says, "Ramesh and I have been discussing working together for a long time now, this gives us the perfect opportunity. When he took up the Queen remake, he decided to associate with me," says Satya, adding, "We started off with the Kannada version, titled Butterfly, and will soon follow with the Tamil remake. We will then complete the required portions that are based in India, and then leave to shoot in our foreign locations sometime towards the end of August or September."

Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in for the Tamil remake, while Parul Yadav plays the lead in the Kannada version.
