Nana Patekar is Kaala's villain 

The actor will play the role of a relentless politician who locks horns with Rajinikanth.

Bollywood actor Nana Patekar, who was signed up for Rajinikanth’s upcoming Tamil gangster-drama Kaala, will be playing the role of the main antagonist in the film.
It is said that he will play the role of a relentless politician who locks horns with Rajinikanth. The role, touted to be a powerful one, will have face-off sequences between him and Superstar. In the film, Rajini will raise his voice against Nana's political party and their practices, and end up fighting for equal rights of the Tamil people who live in Mumbai.
Rajinikanth, who has completed his portions of the current schedule in Mumbai, will be joining the sets of the next schedule to be shot in Chennai. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film boasts a huge star cast with names like Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil, and Samuthirakani on board the project. Dhanush, who is producing the film under his banner Wunderbar Films, is also rumoured to be playing a cameo in the film.
