Bobby Simha to lock horns with Vikram?
The actor is expected to complete his commitments in Thiruttu Payale 2 before joining the sets of Saamy 2
Vikram, who is currently busy with two projects -- Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram and Vijay Chander's Sketch, will next hop on to the crew of Saamy 2, the sequel to his 2003 super hit cop film. If rumours are to be believed, Bobby Simha, who was last seen in Paambhu Sattai, will play the role of the main villain in this sequel.
When CE contacted the Jigarthanda actor, he said, "It's yet to be finalised. The production side will reveal the details soon." Playing the antagonist isn't new to Bobby Simha, who appeared as a villain in Neram and portrayed roles with grey shades in Iraivi and Metro. Bobby Simha is expected to complete his commitments in Thiruttu Payale 2 before joining the sets of Saamy 2. It's also said that he'll play a negative role in Vijay Sethupathi's Karuppan.
Saamy 2 will be directed by Hari and bankrolled by Shibu Thameens, who also produced Vikram's Iru Mugan. The film will have Trisha reprising her role, while Keerthy Suresh will play the second lead. Devi Sri Prasad will compose the tunes for Saamy 2.
