Panta will have a trendy song
Anup Revanna, who is back in town, will take part in the shoot from today
Panta, directed by S Narayan and starring Anup Revanna, was initially scheduled to release on February 17, but was cancelled at the last minute. The reason was that, on producer Subramanyam's insistence, the director had to include a trendy song. Since Anup was leaving for New York to do a film course in the same week, the makers decided to hold the film’s release until his return. The actor, who is back in the city as of two weeks ago, will be participating in the song shoot from today, which will be held at Mohan B Kere studio.
Anup says, "The director is planning to release the film this June 23, before which we need to add one particular song." The track will be shot with Anup, Taranga Vishwa and Irfan.
Even though this will be the third song to be shot, Narayan insists that only two tracks will appear in the film. The director will, apparently, decide which ones to keep after the shoot is complete.
The film, featuring Monica as the female lead, has Mathew Rajan as its cinematographer.
