Role Models has friendship goals
The film has Fahadh Faazil and Namitha Pramod in lead roles
The boy squad is back again. Joining Fahadh Faasil on his adventure is Vinay Fort, Sharafudheen and Vinayakan in the comedy entertainer Role Models.
The movie, directed by Rafi, has humour at its backdrop, and celebrates the friendship between the lead characters. Says Rafi: “While Role Models promises a comic ride, it tackles a serious issue as well. But, the narrative is laced with humour to keep the audience entertained.”
Fahadh plays Gautham, who is very committed to his friends. They get together after a long time in Goa, where the story takes place. Namitha also has a prominent role. The first look, which was released a day ago, clearly spells its celebratory mood, except for a sombre-looking and oddly-dressed Fahadh.
The director says Fahadh plays an introvert. “Fahadh is initially shown as a fun-loving character, but certain things happen in his life, which changes his attitude towards life,” says Rafi. Namitha’s character, on the other hand, has learned to ride a jet ski and do scuba diving. “She plays a water sport enthusiast. However, she has some fears and Role Models is about how she addresses it and moves forward,” says Rafi. There is also a strong romane between Fahadh and Namitha.
Role Models is likely to hit the screens during Eid.
