Known for starring in films such as Force 2 and Commando 2, Freddy Daruwala is making his Telugu debut alongside Ravi Teja in Touch Chesi Chudu, and he’s thrilled about it. He plays the antagonist in the film and he couldn’t be happier because he is a huge fan of southern cinema. "If you really want paisa vasool entertainers, it’s the south films you need to watch. Be it action, drama or comedy, you find everything in their films, packaged in a way that will appeal to everyone. I catch the Hindi dubbed versions of all Telugu films. I have seen movies of Ravi Teja and Mahesh Babu," Freddy tells CE. His work in AR Murugadoss’s Holiday landed him the golden ticket to be part of this project. "Director Vikram really liked my work in that film, and he felt I would apt for the role. When he narrated the story, I really liked my character which has various shades." Elaborating more on his character, Freddy says, "It’s not just about physical power. There is political power too. You might find my role predictable, but I will essay it differently and make it stand out."
