Raajakumara, bankrolled by Hombale Films, was a runaway hit this year. The film, starring Puneeth Rajkumar and directed by Santhosh Ananddramm, had a great impact on Kannada audience and is now being remade in Telugu.

The production house started with Ninnindale with Puneeth, their second film was Masterpiece with Yash, third again with Puneeth and the fourth is KGF with Yash, work on which is currently on going. Going by the  latest buzz, Hombale Films is now set to make their fifth in Kannada with yet another top star of Sandalwood.

Says an insider, “Hombale Films is to team up with Sudeep for their next, and the actor has apparently given his nod.” Our source says that discussions are currently on and, in all likelihood, work on this film starring Sudeep will begin early next year or once the star is done with his next project with director S Krishna.

Sudeep fans are excited by these rumours and are eager to know which director will be roped in for this movie. The production house, keen on a box office hit, is keeping mum about the project as of now. They will make an official announcement only once all the details have been worked out, and this will keep the actor’s fans on the edge.

The actor is currently busy shooting for The Villain, along with Shivanna, a film directed by Prem.
