Humbled to receive support for 'Indu Sarkar': Madhur Bhandarkar

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is more than happy to receive overwhelming support for his Indu Sarkar directorial, and says it gives him the courage to make more honest films.
The film, set against the backdrop of the 1975-77 Emergency, features Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kirti Kulhari, and Tota Roy Chowdhury. The film also stars Supriya Vinod and Anupam Kher, and has characters inspired by the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and her son Sanjay Gandhi.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has suggested 12 cuts and two disclaimers in the film.
Indu Sarkar is scheduled to release on July 28.
