KV Anand to direct Suriya?

KV Anand was supposed to collaborate with Vikram for the first time. While updates haven’t been forthcoming on that front, it seems that the filmmaker will, meanwhile, commence work on a project that will have him team up with Suriya for a third time. They have earlier worked together on Ayan and Maatraan. Sources have confirmed to us that the new project is happening, and that it is not a sequel to Ayan as was widely expected. Meanwhile, Suriya is currently awaiting the release of his Thaana Serndha Kootam this Pongal, after which his project with Selvaraghavan will go on the floors in mid January. We tried contacting KV Anand for confirmation, but the director remained unreachable.
