Ambareesh, who ruled the silver screen for decades, still has an impressive fan following. His return with a full-fledged role in Ambi Ning Vaisyatho after nearly 20 years will be marked with a special teaser, and it will be released today.

The highlight of the 2 minute 5-seconds teaser will be a handwritten letter by Ambareesh himself, which will trace the actor’s film journey. While a copy of this letter will be sent to his close associates, including politicians and artistes in the film industry, a digital copy will be unveiled on social media this evening.

Ambi Ning Vaisaytho marks the directorial debut of Gurudatha Ganiga, and is being made under Sudeep’s banner Kichcha Creations. The actor, who is set to play younger version of Ambareesh in the film, has also written the film’s screenplay.

The shoot has been put on hold for a few days, and will continue again from December 11 when Ambareesh and the other artistes will join the sets.

Inspired by Tamil hit Power Pandi, the Kannada version will have Arjun Janya scoring the music and Jebin Jacob as its cinematographer.
